I spent the summer in my hometown of Sauquoit, NY dramaturging at The Theater at Woodshill. Our production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream took a Victorian pastoral twist on the classic comedy, and we were very proud to sell out our entire run.
I closed my senior year working as a Student Guide for the New Voices Literary Festival. As the production dramaturg of this staged reading, I created a virtual lobby display and led a talkback with the playwright herself!
My 10-minute play, MOB MOLL, won the Golden Egg Award at the Ithaca College New Play Incubator. The semi-staged reading was directed by Zach de Brino, stage managed by Quin Frederich, and starred Carolyn Best and Zack Blumenstyk.
I recently completed my final production dramaturgy assignment as an undergraduate at Ithaca College. My lobby display incorporated images and language to evoke the drama and mood of the Spanish Golden Age.
The Theater at Woodshill returned with our first in-person performance since 2019. I was honored to provide production dramaturgy for this World War I love story, and designed an interactive lobby display to encourage audiences to immerse themselves in this world.
